    Ahead of the Eid al-Adha holiday in 2020, the flow of going home at the West Jakarta Kalideres bus terminal began to increase.

    Prospective passengers and bus crews must use the Corona Likelihood Metric or CLM application, as a substitute for sikm (a special permit to enter and exit the capital of Jakarta/Surat Izin Keluar Masuk khusus ibukota jakarta) for travel requirements.

    However, after the sikm was replaced with a CLM examination which made the process easier, it made the number of passengers every day continue to increase.

    Every prospective passenger who wants to return to their hometown, must register at the CLM checkpoint. The CLM examination includes a number of contract tracing questions between prospective passengers and covid-positive patients through the CLM application. If the results of the CLM process state that the risk is low, then potential passengers are permitted to travel, whereas if the results are high risk, the prospective passenger is asked to check himself at the nearest health center.

    Kalideres terminal head, Revi Zulkarnaen, estimates a surge in passengers today / Thursday, mainly to Sumatra and Java. Revi ensures that all bus fleets serving passengers are willing and roadworthy.        

"With the not enforcing of SIKM, it will be replaced by application CLM, so passengers, drivers and conductors must fill in application data on the CLM" said Revi Zulkarnaen, head of the AKAP bus terminal kalideres on Tuesday, July 28, 2020.
